The HMCAC Scholarship Award

HMCAC works to raise funds for two external scholarship awards to be awarded to deserving Madison County high school seniors in order to aid them during their Freshman year. The HMCAC Scholarship Award is presented to students who best exemplify a balance of academic excellence, involvement in extra-curricular activity, support of their local community, and demonstrate a need for assistance in fulfilling their dream of being an Auburn student. Recipients are chosen by a committee of representatives from the board.

Prerequisites for application:

• Must be a resident of Madison County

• Projected graduation from a public or private high school within Madison County spring of the application year

• Must have been accepted to Auburn University with planned attendance in the upcoming fall

• Timely submission of the information requested in the Scholarship Application
